Chiringuito El Madero is another of Estepona’s chiringuitos or beach restaurant that has recently undergone renovation, creating a spacious, moderns and beautiful place right on the beach, to drink or eat, whether for lunch or a romantic dinner at sunset.

Serving fresh fish in the typical Málaga style, from fried fish to the famous “Espetos” or skewers, where sardines, bream, octopus, chicken etc are barbequed over a pit of coals, often in a sand filled old fishing boat.

El Madero is well located in the middle of Estepona’s Paseo Marítimo, next to the Playa La Rada, and just a very short walk from the centre of the old town.

With a large and spacious terrace on the beach and many live events and music, from Flamenco to the Blues, Chiringuito El Madero is a fantastic place to eat the freshest fish or drink a mojito on the beach.
