Estepona Orchidarium

Inaugurated in March 2015, the Orchidarium of Estepona with it’s 3 impressive glass domes has become a symbol of innovation and a unique and important tourist attraction in Estepona, fulfilling it’s goal of offering a different and unique type of tourism and of course reinforcing it’s reputation as the “Garden of the Costa del Sol”.

This architectural wonder, split into two levels, houses thousands of species of orchids as well as other tropical species in one of Europe’s largest collections. Other attractions include a huge vertical garden and also a 17m waterfall which cascades down through the largest of the glass domes.

Orquidario de Estepona

Located on Calle Terraza in the old town of Estepona and with an entrance fee of just 3€ (1€ for children), the Orchidarium is a great place to spend a couple of hours and for locals it’s well worth a repeat visit (especially on those rare cold days!) to see the changing displays.
