La Casa del Rey is one of of the jewels of all the restaurants in the Old Town of Estepona, a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful location just off the Plaza de Las Flores.

Occupying a house with over 200 years of history and with a traditional Andalucian patio inside, the Casa del Rey is traditional in every sense but their food and wine is far from traditional.

Originally a Winebar or “Vinoteca” specialising in wine tasting and selling over 120 different types of wine, it now also offers one of the most interesting menus in Estepona, with creative and modern tapas and pintxos.

Their delicious tapas include local specialties such as Iberian ham, croquettes or international delights such as Tuna Tataki or Partridge Pate. Main courses follow the same idea, with traditional dishes such as Pedro Ximenez Fillet Steak or international dishes including Norwegian Salmon or Thai King Prawns.
