The many names of the Playa del Angel Park, the Outdoor Statue Museum (Museo al aire libre de Santiago de Santiago) or even the Parque de Calistenia should give you some idea of the importance of this small green little corner of Estepona.
Situated at the end of the Paseo Marítimo (seafront promenade) boardwalk, part of the Senda Litoral, and facing the Playa del Angel beach, the park displays a collection of sculptures by the artist Santiago de Santiago, with a strong focus on the female form, including notable pieces such as Goya and Diana Estepona, arranged on terraced lawns overlooking the sea.

A very popular local spot for a picnic, a wonderful place to relax with a book or just to enjoy the sea and the views if maybe the beach isn’t your thing.
The park and it’s views and airs make it a great place for exercise, whether it’s joining one of the many yoga or aerobic classes that are held there, or for the more muscle beach vibe, take advantage of the recently installed open-air calisthenics gym, it covers an area of approx 400 square meters and is one of the most comprehensive in the area.
